It's a joy to capture the heart of a close-knit community, one photo session at a time

Being a photographer in Lemont is something I’m incredibly grateful for and have been for the last eight years. This town (my hometown) has a special kind of charm that makes every session feel personal and meaningful. Whether I’m doing family portraits, senior photos or covering a community event, I genuinely love getting to know the people behind the photos. That’s what makes being a Lemont photographer so incredibly fulfilling.

One of my favorite parts of the job is mini shoot days. They’re fast-paced and fun, and I get to meet a ton of families in just a few hours. It’s always exciting to see returning clients and to meet new ones—families who will hopefully come back year after year. Being a Lemont family photographer has allowed me to form real connections with people, and that’s the best part of this work. You can find mini sessions pop up on my website throughout the year (fall books up the fastest!)

I also love being out and about at events. Lemont Downtown Cruise Nights are such a summer highlight for me. I can’t wait to see the crowds again this year. I love waving to familiar faces, snapping candid shots, and just soaking in the energy. Events like Market on the Canal are another favorite. It’s such a great way to connect with other small businesses and neighbors—Mabel’s Market, Folklore Coffee, 1 Happy Girl... just to name a few. These events make me so proud to be a Lemont event photographer.

Some of my favorite sessions happen along the canal—especially engagement shoots. There’s something really peaceful and romantic about that spot, and it always photographs beautifully. And weddings at St. Cyril’s? Absolutely timeless. Being a Lemont wedding photographer means I get to be part of such important milestones, and it’s truly an honor.

I also love working with high school seniors. These sessions are full of energy and excitement for what’s ahead. Capturing those moments as a Lemont senior photographer is something I really enjoy. And for local professionals looking for a refresh, I’m always happy to offer modern, approachable portraits as a Lemont headshot photographer.

This town truly has it all. It’s a beautiful place to live and an even better place to work. Being a part of this community, camera in hand, is something I’ll never take for granted.
