This was maybe the most special, serendipitous photoshoot ever. After seeing an ad on Facebook, the Benfields booked a fall mini with me and it turns out they're the family that moved into my childhood home last year. I was trying to keep it together, but when Georgia told me she had my old room and Gemma had the room by the apple tree (my sister's), I just about lost it. That house holds 30+ years of my memories, all the Christmas mornings, all the homework assignments, the dinners, the bad news, the good news, the episodes of Frasier during the pandemic. I'm so grateful for all of it. To know that there are young sisters back there again ... I hope they love it as much as I did.

I always say I'll deliver 20 photos for fall minis, but really, all of my sessions end up with at least 50 final photos because if you get good shots, why not share them?

Fall minis are officially kicking into high gear 🍂🍁I had such a wonderful time with this gorgeous family who helped me celebrate the first official Downtown Lemont "mini" session of the season.

We took advantage of the beautiful, expansive and quiet area near the Canal Center (a spot I remembered as Safety Village growing up #old) & now
I'm going to try and incorporate this beautiful part of town into all my minis.
