When it comes to finding the perfect backdrop for your next photo session, the Chicago suburbs are teeming with hidden gems just waiting to be discovered. Park next to The Bridge wedding venue and walk along the scenic I&M canal. With its abundance of murals and hidden gems, Lemont offers endless opportunities for capturing both urban and natural beauty.
3. Gilbert Park (Downers Grove):
If you're looking for a tranquil vibe in nature for either a family portrait or engagement session, Downers Grove's Gilbert Park is the place. Trust me. This idyllic setting boasts a picturesque walking path and a stunning bridge overlooking a peaceful creek, where light and shadow creates stunning imagery (in my opinion).
4. Swallow Cliff Woods (Palos Park):
Calling all family portrait photographers! There's not a spot in Swallow Cliff Woods that wouldn't make for an amazing backdrop. This expansive forest preserve (which used to be the site of their infamous toboggan rides) has high bluffs, massive trees, paths, greenery and the prettiest flowers.

Tucked away in the heart of Lemont lies Bambrick Park, a true hidden gem waiting to be discovered. With its open fields and towering trees, this verdant oasis is the ideal setting for capturing the golden hour glow in all its glory.
